Those with cars on the Morning Celesta, we may be up for some delays, dumb ship is still sitting at Durban SA, was supposed to have left there 2 days ago for Freo...

At least you're receiving emails - I haven't received any confirmation. Only know mine is on board a ship through tracking the VIN. By the way, I think the Morning Celesta left Durban this morning at 5.30am (our time). Hopefully smooth sailing from here.

Where did you see that Woodrow, all of the Ship Info app, https://www.vesselfinder.com and MarineTraffic: Global Ship Tracking Intelligence | AIS Marine Traffic have it sitting at the dock in Durban still. All of them say the last position as the current date/time i.e. now.

It left Durban anchorage, outside the port, at 5:30am for the Durban docks.

Not that I'm stalking the ship, but it's moving now, just being taken out of the harbour by a tug boat, it's finally moving....

I am glad I am not the only ship stalker.

It is now in open water and accelerating 'rapidly' to its max cruising speed, probably 17kn (or 31.5km/h for the non-nautical)

You need to ask the dealership, what week you car build starts. Then it's about 9-10 weeks from that week, to landing in Melb.

Hey Eyes24, spoke with dealer last week. He informed me the ship docks on the 4/7/17 and I can have car later in the month. But I have never received any emails from VW with welcome or it's been built or shipped etc. anyways we will see what happens, just a complete different experience to others.
