I have ordered/received my New Tiguan

Gladbach, i got it all, every thing from DAP, SUNROOF AND R - line, candidly i 've every thought that i will have it earlier than all of you, but who know when it comes. Dealer guy told me i might get a car around mid of march. He was not sure until the ship come to port kembla. Im sure will express how i experience with this car. We all are waiting for so so long, i almost lost my patience. Thank you

I checked the port kembla ship schedule, there are only fews coming on 22 of Feb, Talisman will be porting on 23rd, look like this is the one from Germany.

How do you know if you are driving on eco or sports mode?

I am on highline model only but no Rline pack, so i don't think theres sports mode?

Use your VIN that the dealer provided you and enter it into the cargo ID field of this website https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...uickSearchPage

This will tell you which vessel your Tiguan is on.

How do you know if you are driving on eco or sports mode?

I am on highline model only but no Rline pack, so i don't think theres sports mode?

The round dial, the middle button changes the drivers mode.

The top left hand corner of the radio display will tell you the mode. The highline has Eco and sport modes, you press the mode button on the rotary dial to change between them.

Another thing to look at is when you select drive, if you are in drive and knock the lever down again it will change the car into "sport" gear which is a little faster to launch. My wife does this from time to time.

Dealers were taking deposits in July when prices were announced. Was entered into the system in September. Changed colours in December (from black to white) as the car was not built yet. Didn't mind an extra month wait as I paid 56500 DA for a fully loaded 162 with boot protector and stainless steel rear bumper lip protector.

I would ring them tomorrow and ask them for a VIN they should have it as soon the car has been built and yours has.

Looks like our Tigs were built not far off from each other on the production line ... my checkpoint 8 handover to sales is one day after yours ...

Wow I ordered mine 1 week before All Tiguans launched in Australia and I got mine this week. That's weird that they said April for you.

Depends on the dealer and the amount of build slots they can secure. Mine is a small one so they have less cars allocated and less build slots.

Crazy, I only checked it an hour ago and it had mapped it north of Lisbon. Perhaps there was a delay in the tracking.
