Has anyone had updates on deliveries? I’ve been told by my dealer that what was May is now October?

But disappointing given I’d placed a deposit mid-2020

Yep NSW. The one i drove was fitted with a GPF/PPF and sounded pretty muted tbh. I'm glad mine wont be coming with a GPF/PPF.
Yeah i'm even more excited now that i got to drive it. IMO Worth the wait.

Good to hear a review on the Australian spec. I really want to know what the exhaust sounds like, am very much hoping it will be sportier than the current setup. Am so bummed we don’t get the akrapovic option!

So went and took the new demo Tiggy R for a spin that the dealership got.
First impression was good! Exhaust sound is not as noticeable as I would prefer, but better in the R setting (quiet on the normal or sport setting).
Has anyone received theirs yet?
Mine due to be here in October.

I’ve also taken my dealers allocated car.

I have read that some R's have come with the ppt and some without... if the exhaust was really quiet could possible be a ppf fitted R as the one I drove had a really nice note

I've had mine for about a month now.

The car is awesome. It really feels great. Still getting used to the power band.

In a car that is 90% perfect, I will say one thing. The car does not stay in the power band in race mode... It drops gears late almost as if to save fuel. So if you dump the power in race mode, the car isn't ready for it. Weird.

For my next SUV, with the Tiguan R Driveaway (MRDP) @ $78,196 for 0-100km/h of 5.1 secs (235kW & 400Nm), I will need to test drive a fully Electric SUV that does a 0-100km/h of 3.7 secs to compare bang for buck
