Personally I'd go the Michelin after experience with Michelin Primacy 3 ST's for their lack of road noise, fairly good grip (I don't hard) in the wet and life.

Unfortunately my experiences with Goodyear over 43 years of motoring have been memorable for the wrong reasons.

What about the Michelin Primacy 4 (1st) or Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUV (2nd) from the review?

Thanks mate, good find. Good to see it includes the noise level comparisons as well.

Regarding the Conti PC6, it had the 'lowest' thread depth which I assume will mean it will last a lot less.

Found this on the site as well Should you rotate your tyres?

Australian version of the tyre test using Hyundai Tuscon in 2020
Conti PC6 won, and going past tests Conti appears to be consistently in the top3. For me its always been about wet weather handling and braking as that's usually the only time you are nearing the limits of the tyre adhesion in day to day driving.

My Conti SC5 looked a little worn at 40K so checked out the usual but these were in the mid $400s. Then my tyre guy told me he could get Conti CSC6 Mo for #350 ea. No contest..so far, they have been exemplary and quieter to boot.

Your review site is for 235/55 R18.

Can the Highline take the 235/55 R18 size or does the review hold for 255/40 R20 sized tyres?

I've also seen posts here with different sized tyres like the 215/65 R17. How do we know what size tyres the Tiguan can take?

I didn't know they had a evo 3, I have been happy with the 2s so far. The Goodyear looks pretty good to.

    Hi guys.
It's time to replace 2 tyres on my 2018 132tsi in Perth which came with Hankook 215/65/r17. My local doesn't have the Hankook but offered conti 5 (i believe non suv given the size) for $195 each. I'm wondering if I should track down the Hankook's or are there better options? I'm not too fussed about price given these are way cheaper than the larger size tyres I used to own so don't mind paying a bit more for a better tyre. The car does 80% city driving and the rest highway and is rarely used offroad.

    Thanks in advance
