I bought it when there was a 20% off sale for SuperPro, however Sparesbox has got 15% off until the end of the month site-wide. You may find it cheaper elsewhere. There's a number of other options for Mk7 Golf R (Whiteline, H&R, etc) and they should all fit/work.
In terms of fitting it wasn't too bad. I did it on the drive on jack stands in around an hour and a half. Had a bit of a struggle getting the end links seated into the frame. It's all pretty basic - 8 bolts to do everything. Would have been easier to drop the exhaust but managed to do get the bar in/out with it still bolted up.Last edited by tigger73; 28-06-2020, 12:05 PM.

Also I didn't want to go too big (i.e 25-26mm) in terms of the upgrade as then I'd probably have to do the front as well to match and that's a much bigger job in terms of the installation.
The stock bar is 22mm and pretty sure it's hollow too as the 24mm SuperPro bar is noticeably heavier.

There’s options in terms of running larger disc with a relocation kit for the caliper but I’m just going with a 310mm DBA rotor and Forza FP2 pad for now.

Actually it's partly a tax write-off combined with stimulus for the Coronavirus economy.
Also I have 6 pot Alcons up front with 378mm rotors so decided a mild rear brake upgrade was in order.
