  • Amarok Temp Gauge

    Hi All,
I have a 2013 Amarok Highline which only came with an engine temp warning light and no gauge. Recently the warning light has been coming on with no obvious signs of overheating and the fluid level seems fine. I was wondering if anyone had fitted a proper temp gauge and where they wired/connected it in?
    Stu.

I used an obdII device connected to my mobile to check live temperature.
Was pretty good and easy to set up.

That looks good. Will check it out. Saves running wires etc. Thanks.

Don't go for really cheap one. As you don't want to damage ECU.

Have the cooling system pressure tested, and check for sludge in the EGR cooler.

You won't damage the ECU. The worst you can do is lose connectivity with the OBDII port.

            Cheers

                Hi Stu
What did you end up doing in the end?

Also, I wonder if the 2014-on speedo could be retro-fitted to the non-temp gauge Amaroks?
