Damn. I thought everything was somewhere on the internet!!! If somebody does know of this and can forward it, will be appreciated. I no longer get my car serviced at VW as they are to expensive so not much chance of a request there

You could bite the bullet once, have it serviced there and get the update done... Just a thought

Which entertainment unit do you havea s it makes quite a difference as to the maps you are able to download

Im installing to a Discover Media MIB2, the non pro version to a 2016 Golf Alltrack. Installs as Version 1115 MRM3 2019/20.

I tried that earlier and it was giving me 700 Kbs download speed done a speed test and got 13MBs download speed, and downloaded something else as a test and got 7Mbs download speed, cancelled the German on and found the U.K one had the newest update and it’s download speed is 1.4Mbs (still ****), why do Volkswagen throttle it so badly?

Its probably slow because everyone and their dog is downloading at the same time

Must be your internet. I downloaded at around about 5.5Mbps

Not me wrong person to reply to Jap lives in the UK so hardly will affect us in AUS

Ah, yes, my bad! Haha.
Even stranger then if Jap is in the UK and couldn't get a proper download speed. He's so much closer to Germany.

The latest version dated June 7 only appeared 4 days ago.
I know, cause I have been checking almost every day since May

Ha Ha I downloaded it on the 2nd June from another site as its the same map across the VAG range.

I know cos the file is dated 2/6/2019 and it was there for days before that

I know SA is a bit behind but that long for a d/load isnt funny

Am d/loading it again and its taking 75 mins on a 50mb fibre connection

No, on ADSL2 at 3Mbps, which has dropped by 1Mbps each time my ISP was acquired by another.
And am currently on my third 1 year delay of the NBN rollout.
