I did on my Pixel XL, but after I installed the Android Auto app and started using the genuine USB-C cable it seems to now charge at standard USB 2.0 speeds. Not quite fast charge though.2018 Golf GTI DSG (DAP LUX INFO R-TAILS)Comment

I recently purchased a MK7.5 GTI. Just wondering can HBA be enabled by VCDS. My car does not come with the Drive assistance package.

So, calling dealers (in Melbourne) about the 2019 Golf R Special Edition, one told me today that the MY2020 R’s won’t come in Lapiz blue, and that they’re being replaced with a different blue. I mentioned that’d be weird because Lapiz seems, at least to me, to be the R signature colour. But he reconfirmed. Anyone else heard this?Comment

I wouldn't be surprised - Rising Blue was the hero color for the Mk6, and Deep Blue Pearl was the hero for Mk5 (a proxy for current day Lapiz).
A return to a lighter shade would be a positive in my eyes, I much preferred RB over LB; but everyone will have their own thoughts.

What is the position of the rain sensor and daylight/night sensor on the Golf R 2018 please?cars (chronological) Morris850, Morris Mini DeLuxe, Cooper S, Mazda 1500SS, hard times so some old Holden, old Falcon Ute, better times so second hand Lotus Elan +2 (6 weeks, hopelessly unreliable) Chrysler Valiant Charger 770, second hand Datsun 260Z + 2 auto, Mitsubishi Cordia Turbo, Nissan 200SX turbo auto for 20 years(wonderful car burning ZERO oil after 200,000km & no problems when sold.. should have kept it), Toyota GTS 86 auto, now Golf R Mk 7.5 DSG built Aug2018, white.Comment

About the first thing I noticed in our "R" engine compartment was there is no radiant-heat insulation protecting wiring that runs across the top of the firewall which is above and close to the turbo. I have since noticed a U.K. you tube review of an R and it had insulation there. Got my new toy last Thursday. Meet my Golf R Special Edition. It was having a bit of fun up around Healesville on Saturday. I have to say that coming from an E46 M3, the Golf R Special Edition is one beautifully sorted car.
