Got some details about the performance models today

colours are: white, red, white silver metallic, indium grey metallic, deep black pearl, lapiz blue for R, dark iron blue for GTi.

gti infotainment pack: same as highline
gti lux pack: roof, leather, electric seats
drive assist pack: acc, lane assist, blind spot monitor, rear traffic allert, dynamic light assist, for gti only; park assist
gti owners can order lux pack without the sunroof

there is also a special launch model gti

Choice of 5 alloy wheels also to be avaliable, inc designer packs, such as spoilers, boddy parts, mirror covers in black, or chrome

also accessory packages to be avaliable, being things such as floormats, bootliners, loadsill plates, roofrails

Dark iron blue has me puzzled. Saw a swatch at my dealer and it looked a dark navy blue - darker than the current Mk7 GTI blue (midnight blue?). Yet on the VW Germany configurator dark iron blue looks like a mid grey-blue.

Talked to vw dealership about getting 19 inch wheels for my alltrack and they were all oh i don't know if vw will do that.....
Sooo set of 19inch 40th edition rims on the way to my place as we speak (yes i know photo is of knockoff rims buggered the file up lol)

To go with that new brakes as well

The Milton Keynes wheels (aka Parker in the UK), have the black inlay and aren't to dissimilar from Austin's.

Excellent to hear that they are actually Parkers I've been seeing a lot in reviews and photos. I actually don't mind them. Such a relief.

I test drove a Face Lift S3 sedan today and can say that the new 7SP transmission alone worth waiting for. It's a massive improvement! The normal mode and Dynamic modes almost as good as my HP DSG tune I have. No longer does it hold 2nd for eternity but goes into 3/4th gears so it's usable and makes car lively.

DQ 380 7 Speed DSG

Hi guys

This is a new dsg box with wet clutch coming out with the 7.5 update also on the tig? i think
and some audi,s anyone have any feedback or exp with it

Torque rating is 380 but i have been told its a mixture of dq250 and dq500 boxs which are quite robust and handle a tuned up motor quite well so was thinking the dq380 should be robust as well

Dealer, and there first batch of fairshare performance range will be avaliable in nadcom to veiw by 5th may, from memory.
also each dealer will get one highline for the showroom in early june.
Colour swatches have been sent out to all dealers, thus the comment from splashalot about iron blue

Pretty much what I got from the dealer, not allowed to take a photo ... but my info says only Spielbergs standard on the R, no other wheels offered, I'd asked for Black Pretorias, yet to be answered.

I tried the same with my alltrack wanted larger rims off the gti model answer was well vw prob wont do it and even if they did you would not like the price ($3500+) and oh btw we will keep the other rims/tyres and put em on another car......
Ebay was my friend now have my rims with tyres sitting in spare room will sell rims that come with car total cost to me 2k so take that vw
