Is there a way to tell if I would have squeezed in to a 18.5 build? It got on a boat 23-11. Arrived into Aust on New Years Day, still awaiting delivery. I have a VIN does that specifiy .5 MY - Its manual but the pedestrian detection interested me.

What are the changes for 18.5 ? I know of the Mk7.5 which were MY18 (Model year 2018 which started being built June? 2017), I didn't know there were changes for a MY18.5 (but VW, like all manufacturers, are changing specs all the time).

Well mine was to have been built CW43 (calendar week) and delivered end of Jan, given 18.5 started build in CW45 I'd say some should appear at dealers mid Feb.

Just checked in with my dealer but doesn’t really confirm if it is an 18 or an 18.5 - why don’t they just answer the question! Anyways he sent a screen shot of the latest details and the build week is cw47 - either it will be an 18.5 or they built the 18 then. Well I’ll just have to wait and see.

Saw a few Wolfies out today when coming back from Mt Martha. Gotta say, black Prets look a lot better than silver..

I assume the black Pretoria’s are aftermarket sprayed? I did not have an option on my Wolf !

I'm assuming so. They definitely looked like Pretorias.

I really like the Blue/Black combo, I think Blue/Silver looks a bit meh personally.

cosanostre - there was no option per se, but some dealers were offering to spray wheels for customers on delivery IIRC.

Not a fan of black on Lapiz (worked well on the lighter Mk6 Rising B), but will consider black options on my Oryx. But won't touch the Pretorias, will go after-market.
