Got a call from the dealer and my Blue Wolfsburg wagon will be ready this week. I actually haven’t even signed any paper work yet. Wondering what I should ask the dealer to throw in as part of the deal. Things like mats, boot liner etc. what did you manage to get from the dealers?
Car comes with mats. Ask for a boot liner if you plan to actually use the boot for dirty stuff. I’m going to enquire about a boot lip protector as I’ve scratched mine already. You also get a free VW pen and make sure they give you the correct cable for your phone.
My Wolf arrived with lots of goodies, full tank , cap, jacket, track day, beach towel, umbrellas , boot liner, mats , photo shoot and best price in Sydney!!!
I got a light hand wash and insisted on no polishing machines for delivery inspection and got it detailed and waxed by a professional. Night and day the difference from taking delivery and the concourse condition it was in after.
Have to say had a great experience with ordering my car and when I visit other VW dealers I feel part of the family there too.

Nice!! Looks like they really liked looked after you. What price did you get it for?

Is it the plastic one or rubber?
I've had the plastic stuff before thinking it would be great for the dirty stuff, and just ended up having crap in the boot sliding all over the place, I wouldn't go there again. I'm just reverting to the old blanket in the boot, and if loading let that hang over.
I've had the proper VW sunblinds put in which black out the rear nicely (on top of the privacy stuff and tint), they fit perfectly and suit the car - as the Speaker was requesting at least one one on Juniors door this was a much cleaner solution than some of the after market rubbish.
As for freebies, full tank is the minimum these days but given how far mine was discounted I was happy with that.

I sat in my mk 7 GTI the other day and I can now notice the difference in the leather seats. The leather in the GTI is more comfy and softer I reckon than in the 7.5 R. The R is fine but not as good.
I wasn't too fussed about the leather in the Wolfsburg but now I reckon it is a big plus. It does feel a lot more comfy and soft. Much like the MK 7 GTI seats.

Just a silly question, do you have to pre-order the wolfie wagon? or dealer still get them once in a while and sell them as well?
Really need the wagon for the family... should've planned earlier.

There 8 Wolfie wagons currently for sale in Victoria alone. Try looking on Carsales or just ask your local dealer to source one. There’s only one option - sunroof - so won’t be too hard to get the spec you want. Unlike a Land Rover...
can i ask you guys who have already taken delivery about some nuances about the 2018 7.5 wolf wagon? really appreciate it!
1. is the rear turning indicator in sweeping motion same as the hatch? 1st world problem i guess?
2. do all the 4 tips connected the exhaust? saw on the vwroc someone said they are now all connected?? so no more 2 dirty pipe situation?
