Golf R Wagon thread

Hi all

I've had mine for 5 weeks and loving it.

Got mine today and have both keys with R logo! Love it, what an awesome machine!

The sales manager told me he saw it in the glove compartment when I asked about it after I did my own thorough inspection of the condition of the car. Got them to fit it on both keys for me without any problem.

That's just plain disgusting and unprofessional. You should make a complaint to VWA

I'm the same. My primary key had the R logo, and the secondary key had no logo, but a second R logo base was in the glovebox in a little plastic bag.

Contacted VW Germany and discussed it. For clarity the cars are shipped with two R logo bottom pieces which are there to be fitted and requires only a Torx screwdriver. What's happening is PD teams are pocketing them along the way I'd say. Jerks.

Definitely something to check for when taking delivery. If both keys aren't suitably bedecked then the dealer will be required to order the part(s) required.

Anyone with a MY16 Golf R Wagon notice one KESSY key has an R logo and the other doesn't?

Just clocked over the 1000km mark in my r wagon... I didn't think launch control would make me smile so much. I can't stop grinning just thinking about it!

I went in to Kevin Dennis VW (Deer Park) yesterday and they have a Lapiz Blue R wagon available if anyone is looking.

No problem. You have to take the option before the vehicle is registered FYI.
