Any Wolfsburg wagon owners with a VCDS cable mind checking what door controllers are fitted to our cars? If not, any members around Glen Waverley or nearby SE suburbs have one and willing to help out?

Update: I rang Adam at South Yarra and he punched in my VIN into the system, surprisingly he could not find any folding mirrors that linked to my VIN as an option. So for Wolfsburg owners (maybe wagon only) looking to perform this retrofit, we might be out of luck. I will keep researching as I have not given up. I wonder if a VIN for a Wolfsburg hatch will be the same.

I have been in contact with the Kufatech distributor here which is Autofidelity based in Melbourne. They are currently sourcing for the mirrors that will not only be compatible with our Wolfsburg door modules but also for a RHD market. I will update as soon as I hear back from them. Speaking with the MD at Autofidelity, he believes it will be a straight forward fit as we have the higher grade door modules in our cars but we won't be sure until we test it.

A bulk order doesn't significantly lower the price.

The parts hasn't arrived and they only reopen on Jan 11th, I'll chase them up then. Once it's fitted, I'll update this space again.

Had the powered folding mirrors fitted yesterday at Autofidelity and installation was successful. Mirror dip on reverse still works. Blind spot assist still works too. It has led puddle lights too. The set comes without the mirror cover and glass, so those are transferred over from the old mirrors. I can also confirm that the mirror folds/unfolds when locking/unlocking on either side of the door handles. View My Video

That's great would you be able to let us know where did you get the parts? Any special tricks to install?
