I love my black Pretoria’s on my TY R SE but I live on a rural property with 1 km of gravel road and a causeway so keeping them clean is impossible! I’m thinking of changing them to a Matt graphite or bronze/gold (Enkei SC 50/Sparco/Ultraleggera HLT) what offsets will work with either 8 or 8 1/2 in widths? What hub size is the R? I apologise if this is the wrong area to post this question!

Hi guys I’ve been flicking through this thread for the past few hours but haven’t found a definitive answer to my question
I have a mk7.5 Gtd that I have bought wheels of the following spec
8.5x19 et42 with pirelli p zero tyres in 235/35/19
My question is will my fronts be flush ? I have read conflicting opinions.
Et42 is the only offset available ( inspiri ffr6)
Biting my nails at the moment as I, A don’t want and poke past flush and B don’t want any rubbing as the car is used daily and driven quite hard
Any help would be appreciated

19x8, offset 40-55 would work
Use an online wheel size calculator for exact specs
Hub size is 57 point whatever (57.1?), lots of wheels come in 66.6 for Audi’s and you can use hub rings2006 MkV 2.0TDI -> 2005 MkV GTI -> 2008 MkV R32 -> 2013 Polo 77TSI + 2016 Mk7 Golf R Wagon

The offset sounds fairly aggressive, how’s the front poke?
I agree that 18’s is the way to go, in fact I’ve just ordered a pair & getting them fitted tomorrow [emoji41]

Any guesses on my new 18’s before I post pics tomorrow?
They’re 18x8.5 ET45... I was tempted to get some OZ Superturismo LM’s, but they’re damn expensive and only 18x8, so went a cheaper option instead (again)2006 MkV 2.0TDI -> 2005 MkV GTI -> 2008 MkV R32 -> 2013 Polo 77TSI + 2016 Mk7 Golf R Wagon

Nope - I think maybe Dutch could have guessed, as I’d talked about these before...

The move from 35 to 40 profile is lush, it’s so much more forgiving on potpoles and speed bumps!2006 MkV 2.0TDI -> 2005 MkV GTI -> 2008 MkV R32 -> 2013 Polo 77TSI + 2016 Mk7 Golf R Wagon

Question
I have a set of these Rotors with the same specs....I'm worried about them sticking out too much. I want them to tuck. Would it be possible to machine off about 4mm to increase the offset to bring them in a little more?

As the name suggests, these versions of the Audi 5 Arm Rotor as they're referred to, are off the A6. Finding a genuine set wouldn't be easy.

I'm new to this forum but I'm overwhelmed by the amount of wheels that I like on my 2019 GTI. I think I will settle on Audi rotor wheels but I'm wondering how big I can actually go without rubbing. I'm finding it hard to find 19x8.5 et45 and I've read that 35 is out of the question. I want the concave of the genuine Audi wheel and I'm noticing some of the replicas look rather flat.
