I've always thought the Mk7 GTD is the pick of the crop with the GTI finishes (superior to the R) but minus the red finishing - although minus the badge it could also be a converted GTI.. seems others share my thoughts but put it into action.Originally posted by AdamD View Post

VMR & Rotiform are both ~$400ea, OZ are ~$750, I imagine the HRE are $1k+?
Nice wheel though! Can't see the weight anywhere, somewhere between 19lbs (18") and 26lbs (20"), so not much lighter than the OZ2006 MkV 2.0TDI -> 2005 MkV GTI -> 2008 MkV R32 -> 2013 Polo 77TSI + 2016 Mk7 Golf R WagonComment

+1 on tigger73.
There's a big difference between a VMR or cast Rotiform and an OZ wheel. I'd also suggest 2-4lbs a corner is a material amount given it's unsprung weight.
Having said that I'm not sure where the HREs weigh in at but they will clock in under $4k through the right channels. Sadly the 25% off sale was in very limited and generally VAG unfriendly sizing.
The LMs aren't a light wheel but the evidence in this thread suggests they are a sure fire winner on the Mk7 - including white wagons.
