Wednesday Wagon bonus - a couple of OEM wheeled wagons running lowering springs, VWR & Eibach

I haven't been able to find any VWR springs for the R wagon! (Eibach's due next week)

Also, loving the LM pics but I'm more convinced now *not* to get nice expensive rims, after my missus curbed one of the new Audi rotors last night! (already bought another wheel as a spare)

Good point - I am not sure if there are any - it's possible they are just using hatch based and getting a lower drop.

I recall the USA guys at one point where using manual DG springs on DSG equipped cars on the Mk6 to get the right drop they were chasing.

Anyway - ouch - but that is no reason not to get good wheels. It's a 50k+ car, treat her right.

We have had a MAK wheel or two appear in the thread a fair way back, but I'm not aware of anyone running them locally. They're on the cheaper side - a lot of their range retails in the UK for around $200 AUD so adding in freight kills the price on that end of the market.

On the plus side, that is similar in design to the current S3 five spoke star design, so if a set of those became available that would be the easy fix. There are a number of replica versions floating around, but as usual the thread would recommend staying away from the discount places with their poor quality wheels.
