Hi Charro which wheels do you think are better quality ? the VMR or the TSW Bathurst ( I am tossing up between the two) ?Originally posted by charro View PostI would have loved oz ultraleggera,s too. Vmr 721 were what I thought gave me a similar (I said similar, not same) look on a 😉😉 budget without being too cheap & nasty. Those stance look nice, if you like them check out the twr bathurst wheels as similar design but better look & quality in my opinion. I was millimetres from getting these in gunmetal instead of the vmr, could have gone either way.

The TSWs.
I remember when I was buying for my Mk6 it was the middle of the mesh craze and I was keen on the Nurburgrings, but they were rare here and the U.S. forums all nicknamed them 'the soft wheel' company.
Fast forward to 2015 and a lot of the guys on the U.S. forums are now running TSWs and all say good things.

Having said that the VMRs are good wheels for the money especially now that they're readily available locally. As charro said, if your budget and style preference extends to the Bathursts then go for it - if nothing else it's a cool name for a wheel (I do love TSWs naming conventions).

Quality wise I believe both are very good. Will just come down to personal aesthetic preferences. I am very happy with my choice.Originally posted by jdw View PostHi Charro which wheels do you think are better quality ? the VMR or the TSW Bathurst ( I am tossing up between the two) ?Mk7 Golf R White DSG

With that flat wheel colored centre area with no visible branding on a low res pic my money is on AG, which 'engrave' their logos on the cap.Originally posted by DUB32 View PostAre these HRE or AG M590 ?
Look very nice indeed

OZ - graphite, the top does look black but the second pic definitely looks more graphite. May be the quality of pics, in real life they'd be difficult to miss. I really liked my graphite LMs on my TR Mk6 though.Originally posted by charro View PostThat black on red is epic. Or are they a dark anthratic?
These wheels need proper distribution in Australia.Originally posted by donweather View PostOh yes please!!!!

They also work nicely on the S3 in Daytona or Sepang. Group buy Dutch?Originally posted by Dutch77 View PostNeuspeed RSe 10s (in a more aggressive 19 x 9 ET45 fitment - I'd personally go the 19 x 8s) and VWR springs, in Lapiz a sweet combination:
