[QUOTE=Dutch77;1115178]These aren't a bad looking wheel, not sure exactly what they are although they are similar to Vossen CV3s. Obviously this is a stance fitment at 19 x 9.5, ET35 in conjunction with KW V1s:
I'd go as far as to say they they are either a 10 or 10.5 width to get that amount of concave...

They definitely have a very concave look, although in this instance the owner/someone who knew the owner posted the actual specs as quoted with the pics at 9.5.Originally posted by DUB32 View PostI'd go as far as to say they they are either a 10 or 10.5 width to get that amount of concave...

Can you kindly point me in the direction of said owner/someone knowing owner to confirm as I am interested in finding out more for my own car setup.Originally posted by Dutch77 View PostThey definitely have a very concave look, although in this instance the owner/someone who knew the owner posted the actual specs as quoted with the pics at 9.5.

Sounds interesting - I hope we get to see the final set-up?

I'm sure someone has, or someone will.. but you're talking about massive work to make that work.Originally posted by Mila View PostCan you actually fit 10.5 wheels in a Golf R? Wow!
I was thinking of going for a 9.5. No stance just want wider tyres for grip.
Even at 9.5 you're unlikely to make that fit legally - that Golf R wasn't even close to being ok here.
If you're looking for grip, and not stance, than I am guessing performance is your main goal so I'd be looking at going light weight and something in 8 maybe 8.5 wide only. Obviously you'll save a bit by looking at 18 x 8 over 19s, but you're call on what will meet your needs. There's quite a few guys tracking on here so should be plenty of good advice in that regard floating around.

hi
I've been reading almost the whole thread, yet, I am quite hesitant to buy and install some Audi S6 replicas, 18 x 8 ET 45, I think they could poke a bit inside the wheel arches, and according to Will They Fit, the wheels will poke more 2,5 cm to the outer part, compared to the 16 x 6,5 Dover originally fitted
so, my plan B is the Amarok "Durban" replica, curiously the name of those from Golf, but a different wheel, they're 18 x 7 ET 42 which will poke just 1,0 cm out
also their center bore is 57,1 fitting exactly, without center adapter ringsLast edited by RSW_BR; 24-02-2015, 03:29 AM.

The 18 x 8 ET45 wheels should be perfectly fine on a Mk7 unless there is something different with your specs as I notice you are in Brazil.Originally posted by RSW_BR View Posthi

I am running 18 x 8 ET48 right now and have plenty of room still - generally anything up to x 8.5 ET45 is considered ok on the Mk7 to sit on the wheel arch.

Still not a real fan of the Oettinger rear wing but the gloss black finishing around the car offset with the white does work in this instance.Originally posted by sergioscirocco View PostVAG motorsports project Golf R
I wonder if they've wrapped the rear valance to finish it in gloss or whether it's just the way the lights reflect. The mirror caps definitely need to be finished off in gloss black though IMO.
And more aggressive round pipes > oval.
