Here is a Cadiz with the inner "U" wrapped. I will get round to doing the others when it isn't so hot and I have more room. Sorry for the poor quality photo, doing this in a little unit apartment garage so there isn't much room to move.

As per your photo edit before I actually quite like this.. will be interesting to see how the car looks once finished and from further back.

I like the matte finish, this ends up looking quite tough as a five spoker with a little definition. I'd actually be willing to run them on my car..

I think generally the polished/black highlights look that VW uses on the Austins and Cadiz is just getting tired and they need to go back to a standard finish, or offer up something interesting as an option like the Rotaries or something new.

The Ultraleggera HLTs are a gloss black and that tends to work with the blue, a la Talladegas and RB on the Mk6.

We haven't had those before, but they are similar to the Klassen's and Avante Garde's discussed previously.

I did a really bad photo chop of the AMG C63 wheels on to a Mk7 early in the thread.

They came with hub centring rings which I had to install.

Despite some people disliking the Cadiz look on these forums (it's obviously very subjective), I actually really like them. If I do get sick of the polished look I may end up plastidipping them black but for now I think they look much better than my old steel wheels and hubcaps
