Stock suspension, will put on vwr springs eventually
Don't blame you for swapping out the stock wheels.

Looking good, the Audi rims really work on the Mk7, will be keen to see a follow-up once you get the springs on.

    • One way to go black without losing the shape of the wheel; with a slight OEM feel. Note the last two are of a similar car and wheel obviously running low.

We've had one car from Brazil wearing a five spoke Lexani in 20 inch but I haven't seen those particular wheels before. They remind me a little of the branded Vossen VFS1. Wonder how 26 inch would go..

I am aware that some Lexani wheels are sold via the cheap outlets locally in Australia - however at least one of these outlets is less than reputable so I'd be very aware before proceeding.

They do look good Dutch, I just think that the wheel detail is lost with black colour.

                • I am aware they sell lexani here in Au however this are Lexani Forged they suppose to be a better than the normals I had the price in the past for 20" and they were about 5 grand quite expensive in my opinion... any ways their design seems to be better and you can make the custom made which is a good thing here is their web site if some one is interested in seeing their collection, Lexani Forged - Home Page

I also like this design when they are on the cars

Thanks Dutch for the answer also those rays in the past post are so good as well but then again price is a bit high, and the thing with black wheels is that you can see them how they really look in pictures you have to see the in person to see them in real detail.

                  • Definitely agree that black can get lost. Don't mind these Lambo wheels though:

Sergio, agree on the Lexani front; there does seem to be a higher end forged range in the USA but they are marketing the cheap versions locally. Must admit I don't know too much on them as they tend to be focused on American or Japanese cars.

                    • A question for the wheel gurus: looking at putting some Mk6 R Black Talledega's on my Pure White Mk7 R and am hoping to use my existing rubber: I'm pretty sure this has been done before but believe the offsets are slightly different ie ET50 Tallies v ET51 for the Cadiz. Can anyone confirm this will work without any dramas?

Youll be fine. Shouldn't have any issues with rubbing. Existing tyres will tuck in

                        • Andrew, as per popcorn, absolutely no dramas whatsoever and I am a fan of the look - it's one black wheel I am actually keen on. Same tyres fine, and a whopping 1mm more poke.

I'm another 2mm beyond that and still have loads of room - the Mk7 has more generous wheel room that's for sure.

We've discussed these wheels before, they have been available locally and I think suit the Mk7 fairly well.

                              • Here is a Cadiz with the inner "U" wrapped. I will get round to doing the others when it isn't so hot and I have more room. Sorry for the poor quality photo, doing this in a little unit apartment garage so there isn't much room to move.
