My R just arrived at the port on Sunday and thats the first thing i thought this week, Im kinda glad it hasn't been delivered yet...

Ordered Golf VII R, DSG, Reflex Silver, Leather and Sun roof, 19/11/14, ready for pick up today, maybe tomorrow.

Picked it up this morning, happy man.

Hey agent thumb sometimes when the dealer searches for a car that matches what you want they look to see if any other dealers have ordered that car and if so they can apparently negotiate to take that car the other dealer ordered. Just means they'll truck your car from Victoria to Brisbane... At least that's what the dealer told me they sometimes do, so not unusual for that to happen from what I'm told.

Still waiting! It has to get through customs and then window tint etc... Got a call from the dealer saying beginning of May. They've given me a loan Passat to drive until my car arrives... It's a nice car but can't wait for mine to arrive!!! Bet you can't wait for yours either!

Ordered my car around the 6th Feb, Sales guys said will be ready on May 20th. Is that normal waiting period and you reckon thats the day I pick up the car? I should have asked him but waiting till he gets back from holiday.

I don't think the car is built to order, seems like he found the one in my colour choice and option. (Lapiz Blue Golf R with leather).

Best way to tell, get the NADCON printout, get the VIN off that, go to the shipping company's website, check when the car is due to arrive in the country. Add 2-4 weeks to that date for pick up time.

Picked up the MY15 (Jan) Golf GTI today. Looks beautiful in the flesh. Loving the black sunroof on the pure White paint. Tinting was done soon afterwards. Stunning machine.

I pick my Golf R in Limestone Grey tomorrow morning. Leather, manual with panoramic sunroof. Sold my MK6 R 2 weeks ago so can't wait for the new beast.
Window tinting booked in for Friday and Opti-coat on Monday.
