Thought about some different wheels, you can upgrade to the 6 spoke Tangis 15" alloys for about $900 using the standard 15" tyres. But be blowed if I can find an image online of a Mk 7 with these fitted.. .

Had you looked at the Aspen wheels? You should be able to get them for around the same price for 15".. (as fitted to mine)

Thanks for the link to the Mk 6 with the Tangis wheels and can see your car with the Aspens. Changed our order today from the Deep Black pearl to the Pure White. One of the reasons for this upgrade is safety. While it will make 2 white cars in the family, a white Golf should be easier to spot than a black one. The black looks deep and great in the showroom. Just not sure how easy it would be to live with. So $500 in the pocket which we can use for something else. I quite liked the Limestone Grey metallic but with the boss it was black or white. Have had quite a few white cars and been happy with all of them..

Grand Ruby just dropped a bunch off around Christmas. Mine is undergoing ADR - is that normal? Thought ADR compliance was done when they first bring a new model out, not every car? Maybe Some changes for 2016?

Mine was on Grand Ruby as well.. Landed on the 22nd Dec... Hopefully shouldn't be too much longer?

Every car is modified for Australian compliance. This means it gets a compliance plate fitted, and in some cases additional child restraints etc are fitted. This work is usually done by Patricks near or at the docks.

Sunroof on the PP is not an option!

MrGadget, that was the case when it first came out... Only very recently sunroof has become an option according to my dealer so I cancelled my original order with them and added the sunroof.

If I were to wait until April for the same specced car, the dealer advised that the driver assist will be slightly updated with lane departure warning, but I don't need that

if rumours are ture, an updated sat nav would be great as I've read all the terrible reviews about the current one throughout this forum...Maybe not as good for me, as my car has been ordered and is already on the way so it will still have the current version
