Hi all,

deposit down today on a MY15 GTI Performance. Got rid of the SSV Redline, as much as I love the car, can't continue to stomach $100+ per week on fuel.

After owning a regular Mk7 GTI, Im really looking forward to getting to know the GTI Performance. Get it Friday this week.

I've heard that the 2015 models are 210kW as opposed to current 206kW. Anyone know what the facts are?

Any feedback on the adaptive cruise control feature too?

Congrats on the R, fantastic car, very happy with mine As to the Driver Assistance Package (inc adaptive cruise), its a no brainer at $1,000. Has literally saved my bacon a number of times.

I emailed my dealer to see if he has any info on the power increase.I initially ordered my Golf R
without any options,however the driver's assistance package was "cheap" for a thousand bucks especially from a German car company
so I ordered it.

I ordered my pure white Golf TDI Highline Wagon with R Line package, driver assist and panoramic roof on 22/7/14. Docked in melbourne 19/11/14. Really hope to get a pick up date soon.
