@Mila, once the car is built you get the vin from the dealer then you track here https://www.2wglobal.com/webapps?url...uickSearchPage

Enter your VIN in Cargo ID field and search. You get to know the vessel name, eta, previous port, destination port etc. now previous threads show you to track the live vessel location.
Please note even after you receive VIN there may be delay in registering the VIN with transport vessel database.

The happy salesman just rang to say my GTI/P will be available earlier than anticipated. Unfortunately for me I'm away at work and don't get home for another 3 weeks. I was hoping it would have arrived before I left for work but no such luck.

Finally picked up my Tornado Red GTI/P with Leather & DA yesterday and took it straight to Envious Car Care for Opticoat inside & out. Picked it up from Blake today with it looking fantastic and had a 2 hr drive home to start working out all the bells & whistles.

Noice!!! Congrats and thanks for confirming rear traffic alert is there.

The assist menu looks better now populated with all the options, rather than just front assist being there by its lonesome self

@zapsplat, i am assuming you are asking about the buttons on flat panel to the left of the gear stick!
Left:
Top button : auto parking brake
Button below: hill hold/auto hold what ever VW calls.
Right:
Top button: park assist
Button below: reverse cam/parking sensor on/off.

If u talking on the stick, there is only on button facing forward.

Spot on, you understand me! That's weird why I didn't notice it then, oh well. So there's no auto stop start button now? I thought that was one of the flat panel button on the left.

So does it drive as well as you'd imagined? Any cool features / niche things you've discovered that we should look at when the rest of us pick up our cars....someday?

That's what I thought from looking at it, but the photo only juuuuust wasn't clear to zoom that far. I had only seen before that was changeable through the head unit, so if it is I'll be a happy chap

Ya I can confirm it's the driving profile selection switch from our current Golf 7. The button directly below it is the Stop/Start switch.

No worries You'll love the Golf! Every time I drive the MK7, then go back to driving my current Camry Hybrid, it feels like I'm driving a cruise liner... Can't wait to get my baby in June!

I only spent 15 mins in the car. So got confused. Also I can confirm car came with V3 SD card navigation version 0031/2015. Which I believe is the latest maps.
