Ausi S3 would be better in that comparison instead of the GTI, but there was some nice footage of it there. Another obvious plug for the soundaktor when you compare the interior engine noise to the exterior.

The AMG looks extremely competent but then does that mean and legal road speeds you can't have any fun with it??? (besides beating everything at the lights)

IIHS (Insurance Institute of Highway Safety) who do lots of crash testing have released their video of the US Mk7 GTi in the small offset crash (which is a 25% offset crash that shows up lots of cars for having poor structures and being built for the 40% overlap test only). Golf comes out as Good, their highest rating.
