I like the evolution in the design and I am sure it will grow on me as the Mk6 did.

What I find with with Mk6 is I like it from all angles, and I suspect the Mk7 will end up like this as well. Most other cars always seem to have an awkward angle in their make-up..

Did you all catch the section of the UK car buyer review that talked about the flat folding seats? I recall that this was one of the supposed top priorities for golf 7.

At first in the demo in the video i thought they failed big time, but then saw how one can raise the floor of the boot and snap it into place.

            Then i thought... WOW!

            Nice review.

Seriously, the designers should have just left the grill or made it more aggressive looking but ALL black. Now they look like whiskers. FFS it is a GTI, not some big cat.

all diesel. I thought the Golf was going to end up nowhere in that review at the beginning, but he did a nice deflection. was a bit like Fifth Gears 2004 car of the year ( was catching up on some old eps that I recorded last year, go the old gti haha).

Noice. I think the diesel is the pick of the comfy line range when it launches in aus spec. Cant see a reason to go with the 1.4 petrol any more.
