I have just ordered Pedal box and Injen Intake. My thoughts with Intake are personally I'm getting it for sound and slight performance increase as I know it will only be slight. I test drove car with APR intake and sound/performance only marginally different. I thought for $300 delivered from states worth a shot.

I have mine with APR no complaints, sounds good and I can feel the car more responsive.

Would putting a DP on throw a CEL if I don't tune it? Exhaust in coming and I would rather spend the labour to put the whole thing in but I still don't have a tune properly arranged.

Consensus when I asked the same question is that it will chuck a CEL.

In saying that - there was close to a 50/50 split of people saying it would CEL Vs. being fine. I would just wait and do the whole lot along with the tune at the same time.

I think it'll come down to the o2 reading from the cat. Hopefully won't be off the charts.

Has anyone here replaced there tyres yet? If so with what and why.
Im now up to the stage of probably needing new tyres within the next month and looking out for any good deals. Also anyone recommend any good online tyre stores?

I'll have 4 x brand new Bridgestone RE050A (presumably) in Melbourne off mine as I'm going Pilot Super Sport on my new rims. ETA sometime around 08 Feb.

Night Blue Metallic on Golf R?

No it isn't.
You can only get the Rising Blue on the Golf R.

Alternative is to get it wrapped in night blue when it arrives or repainted.
Or buy a tiguan which comes in night blue and has the 2.0TSI and 4Mo system, just needs a turbo upgrade.

Just like the 6 or so mk6 Rs that came out here unofficially in Tornado Red it is technically possible. Hard to organise - you need to know the right people in the right places - and take a massive chance that it isn't going to arrive in your chosen colour.

I installed pedal box today and I think it's awesome. Definitely fixes up the hesitation/lag on acceleration. For me I'm quite light on accelerator pedal so for me it makes a massive difference. Anyone else wanting better response/acceleration I recommend giving it a try.

What hesitation/lag on acceleration? Maybe it's too long since I drove a NA car lol.
