I'd stear clear of that moron. He has no right to call himself a salesman. He sold you nothing but bad attitude and a lack of product knowledge. Only the DSG will hit dealer showrooms hopefully in April. Manuals will not even be built for our market until MY15 production, which means an excruciating wait for some.

Spotted a Silver one driving thru' North Ryde back streets yesterday.
Noticed the headlights first, saw the R badge & the quad exhaust and LED rear lights.
Looked pretty good, pity I didn't have much time to check it out.

Appears to be a common trait of vw salespeople. How about this one: you call up the normal reception desk asking for XYZ from the service department, and before you even have time to finish the word 'service', you're put on hold and another receptionist picks up and asks what you want all over again. Almost want to just buy secondhand rather than dealing with these types of people.

Should qualify this and say there are some good ones out there... But they probably don't fit the culture and move to Audi before long

I'm not too convinced on the MK7 styling, it doesn't look very aggressive. Hopefully it'll grow on me but I don't see me changing over from a MK6 R based on looks alone.

On a side note, I bet the troll on here is BenC (that joined VWgolf.net.au and started rubbishing VW) to fill in time between doing his school homework and playing his PS4. Why these "luxury/super car drivers" join a VW forum perplexes me. You'd think they'd be too busy driving their car or making more money.
