does anyone know if traffic jam assist is available? went to the dealer today and they had no clue, reading online it says might be on the MY18 vehicles but no concrete info.

If you're talking about the mk 7.5, then yes, I believe it is. If your talking about the mk 7. Not sure.

Anyone who has taken delivery of a MK7.5 with DAO confirm if this is the case? Specs only show lane assist not traffic jam assist.

My 7.5 R has traffic jam assist. Not that I have tried it yet.

Nice... so this means that you have adaptive lane guidance as well? Funny thing VWA never make TJA as advertising point.🤔

I believe it does. If you download the spec sheet from the website it lists it.
Only thing R doesn't have that GTI has is park assist. Bemuses me why R has never had it.

I thought specs only listed "Lane Assist" which is only a lane departure warning and a very different animal to Adaptive Lane Guidance.

Are talking about the option where the care will drive for you during a traffic jam of up 60kmph?

If so, then I have read that it does come in the DAP and also my dealer told me it did he sold it to me. Unless he was telling me porkies... I'll mention it to him on Wednesday when I go in to test drive the car.

Also going to ask about Wolfsburg and decide whether I change or not.

Yes that would be the so-called traffic jam assist. I recall VWA saying that it is no available in the Australian market whereas they advertises otherwise for the Arteon. I am going to see my dealer sometime next week as well. Been 1.5 weeks since car landed and not hearing a pindrop from them.

Interesting i only have lane keeping on my alltrack but radar cruise does pretty much the same job just gotta steer is all

Hrrmm, all the February articles related to the golf state that we are getting Traffic Jam assist. But in the later articles it doesn't mention it as an option and I also can't see it in the brochure.
Maybe VWA took it out (wouldn't be surprised). But my dealer did mention to me that it comes with semi automatic driving where it drives and steers for you, Looks like he was telling fibs (or he actually thought it was available), but nonetheless ill test it out on Wednesday as the demo they have is fully specd.

But if Kachingg doesn't have it then I guess it ain't an option.

It does but not indefinitely if you don't steer it will shake wheel and then sound a alarm

It's more for wandering out of your lane if your tired/sleepy/fatigued

Traffic assist is not mentioned in any vw Australia adds and i bet it would be if it was a feature
