Clutch pack on auto 110 TSI cost?

Hi,
I had some transmission issue with my golf and just been quoted 4.3k to replace the cluth by VW?
the extended used car warranty will not touch it either as it is a clutch issue where it is not covered under their policy.

has anyone had any similar issues?

It wont be a cheap fix, but you should be able to save some money over the dealership quote. Best to do a search on Google for 'DSG specialist perth' and then call a few of the options that come up.

Don't take it to a traditional automatic gearbox service centre unless they have experiece with DSG gearboxes - because DSG's are very different to a traditional automatic gearbox.

had my clutch pack replaced on my 2018 golf comfortline 35k km on 08/03/23. was covered by vw extended warranty at a cost of $3302.

I have had 2 quotes, both @$2400+GST. Was recommended Auto Trans Australia in Sydney. Apparently they do a lot of VW's warranty work for the faulty clutches, however, turn around time is minimum 1 week.
