I've been looking for a MK6 90 tsi and came across a MY12 one with very low kms (7000 to be exact). going and viewing it, it all appears to be in order, drove it and drives fine.
the owner spends about half the year overseas hence the low kms, but he has also missed the annual service. it has so far only been in once to the dealership for the 1000km service, and had a oil change but not done at a dealership.
looking under the carpet i found a recall sticker for 37G7 which was related to a software upgrade to correct an issue with the DSG if it has been sitting around for too long.
My main concern lies around the DQ200 gearbox. Looking around i see that the major recall last year was related to the synthetic oil used in the box, but only affected cars upto MY11. Are my concerns unfounded since the car is a MY12?
Reading the forums, I see that people who had their clutch packs replaced and issues with false neutrals mostly had the earlier model year cars.
