I am surprised Rob_R, I get little to no creaks.. I would suggest your issue lies elsewhere

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

So I dont think the issue lies elswhere it is just the nature of our platform. The brace should sort it out enough.

As I said I don't experience it.. I would just be suggesting that he may have alignment issues or he could use some of these silicon sprays.. I would be investigating those before spending big on something that although is strengthening is just masking the issueCurrent Ride: MY 16 Daytona Pearl Grey Audi S3- Performance Pack 1, Sunroof and Driver assist

No wonder you think the MKVI GTI is an improvement over the MKV.Last edited by triode12; 07-08-2011, 07:29 PM.

Yes, the MkVI GTI is technically better (more refined - smoother) but it has lost it's soul. I rather drive a car that has soul.Last edited by triode12; 07-08-2011, 07:57 PM.

Just for another Observation
I put 2 litres of window cleaning fluid in a few weeks ago after the light came on telling me it was low.. this was fine for about only 2 weeks and the light comes on again and I had barely used it. Seems it takes 6 litres of washing fluid because of the light washers..Current Ride: MY 16 Daytona Pearl Grey Audi S3- Performance Pack 1, Sunroof and Driver assist
