I wonder if someone with OPS and VCDS can tell us where those settings are exactly (probably in an Adaption menu) for the Tweaks thread.

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Went to a nearby service centre .
They plugged in the diagnostic unit.
There are approx 10 different adjustable settings including pitch and volume for front and back individually and sensitivity.
My settings from the factory was a volume of 8 out of a max of 9.
I had them turned down to a volume of 4/9 so a lot more bearable.
This was done free of charge.2010 MY11 GOLF R - 5DR | DSG | RISING BLUE | DYNAUDIO + ACC + BLUETOOTH + 19s + RNS510 |

Callout to all with a Golf R (or GTi with the xenon option), does anyone know how/if you can turn on the little "parker" lights just beneath the main headlight area. If you access from the engine bay, you will notice there is a wedge bulb in the socket....
See picture below and then link to ebay in Germany where they are selling LED upgrade lights to go in this space.

New observations!
Love -how the inner tail lights turn off when you open the door, and then turn back on when you close.
Hate -no illumination around ignition keyhole.
Love -How you can turn radio on without key in ignition.
Hate -there is no middle accessories segment when turning on ignition (key has only two positions, if you want to charge your phone with ignition off, key must be turned around to last position, unfortunately this puts up all the lights on your speedo, like preignition position in jap cars)
Love -you can adjust power windows for a long time after turning off ignition.
Love - opening and closing windows remotely via remote.Golf R MY 11.5 United Gray, 3 door, DSG, ACC, Free MDI, Bluetooth
Mods - APR Downpipe, VW Racing AI, HPFP, APR Tune Stage 2+- lovin it!
Touareg V8 TDI R-Line, White .Arrived 11 July.

Or if I'm down the beach - safer in the car charging than sitting with my towel while I do laps of the ocean pool. Or if I'm doing a site visit in the bush. There's never any mobile reception & there aren't any thieves about, just me & the kookaburras, so I leave the phone in the car charging up.
