With the APR tune + intake done, I get the 'blow off' sound now which I never noticed before.

Even then I only hear it if I let go of the throttle on boost.

Wondering elisix, with the tune and intake done did you notice an increase in exhaust noise? also can you offer up a rough price you spent on this upgrade? thanks in advance.....

The turbo spooling sound is certainly louder, as is the noise generated from the intake.

The exhaust however sounds very similar if not the same. Perhaps the fart on redline upshift is louder but I might be imagining it.

When I upgrade to StageII, I wont be going with the full RSC but simply the APR Downpipe for Stage II qualification.

I dont want a loud attention seeking exhaust - it's loud enough as is from stock.

Yeah sorry about the Sig - it was made before my car arrived and i'd made up my mind.

I forgot to mention, I paid for my APR in the recent sale so it ended up about $14xx. Carbonio was about $500.

How many KM you got on the clock? I've got about 5500 on mine and in the few days since I got the Stage 1 and the CAI, I definitely notice the spool (fully sik bro) noise and the exhaust is definitely louder when pushing it even mildly.

About 10,500 KM now .. got the tune at 10,000 KM (yes I know, im an idiot for waiting so long).

so am thinking seRiously about biting the bullet now and having stage 1 done as a xmas present to MEEEEE. i'll save 200bucks if done b4 the hols.... only takes an hour.

Could very well be.

D' mode, changes gears to early for some people. S' mode hold gears for too long.

So it seems most people want D's gearing ratio but with more torque.. Insert APR/Bluefin/other brands tune I reckon this the way to go. More boost in the midrange, should be good if you dont like D.

I would wear it in first... seriously, there are like 3 stages up to 5000km that I've noticed an increase in power @ stock.

Now that I've got it done, I can tell where Stage 1 is fantastic and where it's no bloody use at all.. if I'd done it earlier, I suspect I would have ended up a bit frustrated.
