This means you should apply for your renewal now to avoid any disruptions to your membership whilst the renewal process is taking place! NOTE: If you have an auto renewing subscription this will happen automatically.
It's in the options, the one under Parameters iirc, where you can change all the units.
Yeah found it. This is going to cause some grief when flashing cars unless the device is disabled as it ties up the OBDII port. Lots of fun though.
I've learnt that its hard to take pictures of boost reading 28 psi especially at night
Yes there's an option to turn it off, then to turn it back on you have to hold the OK button for 30 seconds.
Yeah done all that but during the flashing process which is normally about 18 mins you don't want things to be interrupted at all and I need to make sure that its not just sitting there polling things while its turned off. The fact that it can be turned back on with the 30 second depress means to me that it it monitoring things in some way.
Its a good piece of gear though
No worries, just keep the FIS box in the little compartment under the light switch and then it's pretty easy to disconnect/bypass when needed. It's recommended to disconnect the relevant fuse (or battery) when doing it.

Mine located directly in front of the gateway module itself so if I ever need to access the thing its only a matter of :
remove wiper arms
remove rubber strip off wiper motor/vent/ECU/soundaktor panel
remove motor/vent panel
remove engine bay firewall panel to wiper vent ECU area
remove wiper motor contraption
remove cover to access CAN gateway module
Then when I'm finished I simply reverse the procedure
Go via the dashboard, I've done both methods and it's much easier (besides not being able to see what you're doing). Once you figure it out the first time though after that you'll be in there within a minute or two.
Actually it didn't take me more than 15 mins to install, I'm pretty good at ripping these things apart now and have all the nice tools that make it easier. Initially I went from underneath and there is no way I could get up there its at the highest point not sure if its the same as your ones location - pretty sure it would be
OK I know we are taking the thread OT but you get that
Yep, same location for me. Just had to push the relays out of the way and then use a long flat screwdriver to pop the gateway up and then it was an easy grab.
