When it came the time to tick boxes, there are 2 that I am so glad I ticked. DSG and ACC (DCC) allow you to change the "drive" in so many ways.

That was my rationale .. I only wanted that and Satnav & MDI. Everything else I thought was good if you had the coin to throw around.

Took the R out to the APR organised dyno day in Canberra today.

Recorded 188.5kW at the wheels with just the stage 1 tune and no hardware.

Not a bad starting point considering the only work done to the car so far is with a laptop.

Will post up the dyno graph when I can scan it in.

Yeah thats pretty good.. generally it is around that for most stage 1 tunes, it will be a few KW difference but I think it has more to do with the dyno than the car.

Best bang for buck, a stage 2 & 3 you wont get the same level of uplift.

Yup, pretty happy with that as a starting point - to my mind that's how it should have come from the factory.

There wasn't a Stage 3 R there today that I know of, but a Stage 3 S3 pulled 255kW at the wheels which is the benchmark we are now aiming for with my car.

Anyway, the dyno graph:

Did you get torque figures, I have mine but they are combined so it is nearly 500nm which is a tad confusing
