Haha. No i dont like how the carpet flattens where the heel of your foot/shoe sits on the matt. And the mats are pretty crappy quality carpet anyway.

One option is to get a group buy happening to get custom R ones made with a heel pad built in. A few places will custom make them.

I may just get some from OS and get them recut here to fit RHD.

Custom mats are an option ive been considering. Not sure if LHD ones would be able to be modified to fit a RHD??

Observation for today:

Driving with the MDI showing instant fuel consumption makes me drive more like James May (I usually have it showing speed).
Weird having to rely on the dial/speedo after all this time

I have all that nonsense turned off. Only one item matters on that MFD - oil temp.

I think an old girlfriend said that to me a long time ago.. not sure my confidence has fully recovered.. needless to say I shower fully clothed now

I've found some in Sth Africa with the new logo - waiting for seller to get back to me with freight cost. Will post up again when they arrive and let you know if they are any good

They have the current R logo embroidered on each front mat, have a heel pad for drivers side and they can colour match edge piping

Interesting and sounds promising. The R logo would be a nice touch, as the ones ive seen in the USA also have the R logo on them. Have you got a link so i can see what they look like?
