Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I could never buy a Fiesta (ST or not) after my R, not as a daily vehicle.
Horrible cheap interior, sharp edges, missing paint inside panels, poorly finished panel edges, bony gearbox, noisey engine.
We like the look, just nothing else about it8VSS2L/16 E9E9 XG MP SPP1 4ZD 6XK CSC5P with an extra free 10kW

Nice one Andrew - congrats on finally selling it. Is the new owner local or from Sydney etc?
Interested to know what you have chosen as your next car.

Got a fair price for it - and much more than the 25k I apparently should have taken.
New toy coming. It won't be a VAG. It won't even be a cherman car. Going for something completely different.

Cheers. It's going to be interesting to see the reaction. I've never seen another one in newcastle, and they are very colour dependent. I nearly bought a Mini Cooper S JCW but these are a little bit slower, but a hell of a lot more comfortable over cracks in the F3.Audi S3. Sold

The Skoda's are very colour dependent if you ask me. Some of their colours are pretty bland while others are quite bright and exciting.

He said "toy" and "completely different", therefore it's probably a Caterham or a Ferrari.
