Lol - yeah, that's about my feelings. It took my 7 years to do 100,000 on a previous car of mine, and that was with at least 1 trip to Melbourne or Brisbane each year (from Sydney).

MY10 vs MY11 Golf R
Hi all,
Is there any difference between a MY10 & MY11 Golf R?? I'm looking at 2 R's with similar price and km, the MY10 have leather, 19s & ACC whereas the MY11 does not. Thinking the MY10 is better value with those options but not sure if MY11 have improvements over the MY10.

The MY12 had some small changes over the MY10 and MY11 (such as Bluetooth and MDI as standard as well as being able to turn off the ESP system completely), but as far as im aware, the MY10 and MY11 are much the same.Comment

I think the MFI/MFD is slightly different and when did bluetooth come standard was that in the MY12's or late 11's. Nothing major though. I don't see very many MY10's at all mostly 12's then 11's then 13'sComment

Difference between Golf R 2010 & 2011?
Hey guys, I am wondering what are the main differences between the 2010 MK6 Golf R compared to the 2011 model. All I can gather is that the DSG selector is the only difference...but that can't be the only thing?

Not much if i recall. It was MY2012 that had some reasonable changes (MDI and Bluetooth as standard, LED numberplate lights etc). Don't think there was much difference between 2011 and 2010.Last edited by Lucas_R; 25-04-2015, 12:02 PM.Comment
