I hear ya. Would be a great time to be living back at home, I'd have the choice of 3 cars hehe. I could have arranged a temp car months ago but got sucked in by the "car will be here in June/July" crap from the dealer and as expected when you really need something, options are non existant.

I was honestly going to buy a car in the meantime for like $5K or less/something.. but then I just thought Im being real lazy and to put up with it. But i wake up on a Saturday morning.. and there is no car about and you just sort of.. you know.. not have a car!!.. ahaha

During the week my sis lets me borrow the beast (corolla) cause she commutes on bus to nth syd, so should be ok for a bit. But yeah weekends or nights sucks..

Yeah - after my Oettinger/APR Stage II MKV Golf GTI was murdered by a bus, I went out to look for a 10 y/o Corolla. I just couldn't do it... seriously. My "cheap and sensible temporary car" is my Stage I APR Polo GTI

ive actually just presold it too (a friend needed a car more than me) so will be without a car for three weeks waiting for my baby to arrive
