Judging by the unreasonable nature of many new owners in the Mk6 forum it's around 6 years old.

Naah. Can't beat that. But will be 75 in a few months time, shortly after 118TSI due to be delivered! So this will be MY birthday present to ME
Made a mistake when retiring. After long succession of company cars, simply purchased present car without even a road test. OK, got fleet discount, but should have had a test drive.
So after my daughter driving me around in a MKV Golf, finally did test drive MK6 golf (and many others).
BTW, for the demographic, retired professional. (X-Ray engineer.)

                        • Buying my first ever VW, GOLF R, turned 29 last week, In a relationship but that can change If someone gives me my golf sooner than later.

Just to add: I bought my Golf myself but I live at home still till I finish uni (that I have decided to back F/T and complete). So to be honest, without my parents hooking me up rent free and food i dont know If I would have saved up enough to be buying cars all the time let alone an R.

If you can hear me, i love ya MA!!

As per most I would fall under the "professional" umbrella. Changing to the GTI from an EVO VIII and can't wait to blend into traffic again Taking delivery next week I hope.
