yeah Liner release means the shipping company has cleared it to be offloaded which is usually a few days prior to docking. Team_v, i see you are from Brissy, which dealer did you purchase through? im sure your car has to arrive at VW very soon. also , is the status of your car delivered to when you track it on WW?

it supposed to have this ship in melbourne port by 21st May, just can not wait to get my car.

It means they have released it from storage on the ship and are using it to ferry sailors or race around the ship.

I feel your pain buddy.
I was expecting pick up on Thursday this week (car arrived 5 May).

Turns out the car is still being held up at customs and hasn't even made it to VW yet.
They don't know when they will get it and now i am left with no expected pick up date.

Your's could have the same problem, being held up due to customs.

i dont know whats happened to mine i will ring up my dealer tomorrow and see whats the deal. mine also came to the country on the 5th

Apparently mine has been delayed another two weeks but with the vague nature of the date of end of May who knows? Starting from Start of May then changed to Middle of May. Why not just say May?

The car was discharged on the 21st April from Brisbane surely it wouldnt take over a month seeing as a car on the same boat arrived at the same dealer last week (12th May)?

Still no response from the dealer 36hrs later? Should I be worried?

Not sure to be honest... he said they will have it by end of next week.. they are looking for 18" to put on it however??? may delay the delivery. I assumed it would be pre-delivered with Detroits if I ordered them with it??

Mine arrived on the Tombarra in Port Kembla on the 10th May.

I just called my dealer and was told I can pick it up on the 3rd June. I was hoping to have it before the end of May, but I guess whats another 3 days after waiting 6 months. Can't wait!
