This week I saw 3 MK6 GTIs 1 carbon steel and 2 blacks and an MK5 GTI with detroit wheels except unlike the detroit we get in the current GTI which is black in the inside that looks like it's polished alloy. I thought it's aftermarket but at closer inspection it has the VW logo on the wheels. Hi coreying,
I checked with the dealer on Sat and they confirmed that there was one already being built with the spec I wanted, but it was going to be a different color and they managed to swap it, hence the shorter delivery. I tried to add a sunroof in, but it was going to push delivery out to Sept, so I said don't worry....

Yeah, I looked at those and actually test drove one, but did not want another silver car, so decided to order a white one. I saw a white one in the showroom waiting to be picked up and looked fantastic. Happy to wait now as I'll have a few extra bucks by the time it arrives!
