Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

      no they haven't. I have asked for it but they said that they can only provide the VIN once the car is in production.

        That is very weird, which must mean that they did not modify the order they already had but placed a new order for you at the beginning of March. (Yours could be on the same boat as mine)

        By the way, which dealership was it?

          yeah, that's what i reckon too. oh well, i'll call tomorrow and see what they have to say.

                    Main it's soooo hard waiting for the car in the last 4 weeks or so, i just want to like go into a deep sleep so when i wake up it's ready for me to pick up!!!

                      going to pick up my GTI this saturday! cant wait ... looking forward driving it back to Adelaide
                      to bad weather is a bit shAit so no Great Ocean drive for me
                      His: Golf6 5door GTI DSG Carbon Sunroof MDI and 18" Drag rims + sticker that gives extra horse power
                      Hers: Skoda Kodiaq Tech/Lux pack and sunroof

                                Just heard from my dealer - delivery tomorrow (Fri)
                                Wooohoooo it's going to be difficult to sleep tonight. Just like XMas eve.
                                GTI, CS, DSG, Reverse Sensors, Tint, Bluetooth (since 9/4/10)
                                [and engine rattle accelerating @ 2-3k rpm ==> otherwise "it's a beauty"]
