Your specs almost identical to what my sister and brother in law plan on getting soonish (hopefully ) although I think they want 19's and minus Dynaudio
Does anyone have any good experience with dealerships across Brisbane and the Goldcoast? Hoping to purchase a 108 tsi dsg with sportspack in the near future.
Thanks mate! Yeah all the gear is here except for the MTM exhaust, hopefully just one more week. Going past the dealership tomorrow to drop the plates off. Probably pick her up next Thursday as it's my next day off. As soon as everything is fitted, will post up some pics

HEY MATE, bought a GTI last year from Austral. service was below average. However I have heard good reviews from there. must just be the dealer I got stuck with.
Ordered my next car from James Frizelles on the Gold Coast. Great Service and get updates on where my car is at without having to call 10 times. Ask for Kylie!
We bought a Jetta from Austral back in 2007 and I found their service below average. We bought a Golf GTI and Polo 77TSI from Jim at Highway Auto (Springwood), they were pretty good.
BMW Z4 (2019)
Audi TT quattro (2015), s-line in Nano Grey - sold

I'm a bit excited!! Just got word from the dealer that my car has docked (or probably the boat it's on) and should arrive at the yard in 7-10 days. Only 2 weeks ago I was expecting a 9 month wait. Then it was down to 6 months, then 8 weeks, then end of month, now approx 10 days. How cool is that? Only problem is that I have yet to sell my car before I can collect the R Anyone want a great C-Class Merc?

IN GARAGE NOW. GolfR, Pearlescent Black, DSG, Black 19Inch, Leather, Sat Nav, Dynaudio Upgrade, Sunroof, RVC.
Just a few words then to try and express how good this machine is. I’m no rally driver, nor do I want to be one, so I’m not going to bang on like Clarkson, but here are my initial thoughts...
Really impressed with the fact that things like Auto Lock and Light functions can now all be done from the display and you don’t need a VAG cable to change stuff. Great.
The Dynaudio is a revelation for me. Breaks sounded awesome through the speakers, the treble is sublime and the bass punches you. If it needs 100 hours to warm up then I will be very happy in 100 hours. If you’re in doubt and an audiophile tick the box........go on, do it now.
Black rims are just awesome, I love them. Also love the smoky headlight surrounds and the mirrors really add to the Rising Blue.
Went slowly out the dealer and then stuck my foot down. What a surge, the acceleration is ridiculous. You can hear that Turbo whistle whoosh. Yes I experienced the lag but I’m sure I’ll get over it and i might chip it at Xmas anyways.....oh and the torque. Wow.
First time I properly braked I nearly put us through the windscreen HAHA, they are absolutely amazingly powerful.
The RVC is pretty mad. The camera works well and when the optical detection system kicked in it was like bloody Knightrider with a guy triggering all four sensors one by one walking past the front of the car. KITT would have chucked a mental.
ACC , well we drove home in comfort mode but I’ll write up what I think of that after tomorrow.......
Leather is well done, looks and feels the goods and loving the little R touches on the doors etc.
In a nutshell it is mad to own such a powerful and fun car to drive while at the same time sitting in a luxury all mod cons cockpit, truly I think VW do this better than anyone else for the price.
Day off tomorrow for a sunny trip down the South Coast and through the National Park. What a laugh...
My only gripe, I need to buy the Ipod cable as I just got a USB one with the MDI. One search on Ebay and 30 AUD delivered later, no more worries there...
Those waiting, you hold on y’hear no cancelling, worth every second of the six month wait....You will not be disappointed.
LS, Good to hear your having fun with it. Pity dealer didn't throw in both cables as they did for me. Yeh definately finding a road with combination of twisty bits and straights make the drive more enjoyable. Have fun!!
Golf R, Rising Blue, 5 Door, DSG and some extra fruit.
Viagra on 4 wheels !!

dave_r told me to use the LC out the driveway of my dealer... unfortunately my dealer's driveway is onto a major 3 lane road at once side, and is 45 degree angle/2km/h to avoid scraping on the other side.... but I still used LC on the first day I had it... about 5 minutes before parking the car and attacking it with a power drill, lol.
