Few years back, a young female with a **** box.. Like $200
Park into a very tight spot between my TT and some other cars. 90 degrees parking in shopping centre in front of my shop. She couldn't Really get out unless landed her door on mine.
She came into the shop. I asked her if she noticed that and the whole parking was empty because which she could stop where or how she wanted. Guess what. She said "it isn't a big crash, right?"... F... At least she owned me a apology.
She ashamed the chinese... And I'm Chinese, too. Its not about the damage but the attitude... Sometimes I understand y people races...
Anyone had this? Someone at fault but losing their temper on u..
YAY all the parts have arrived to fix up the damage from the break in.. next week that gets fixed - 3 days without the car seems excessive but hell I can live it it if a good job is being done - plus insurance is covering a hire car thankfully.
Following week back to the dealers to have another go at fixing the shudder and the clicking.
Hoping this means everything is perfect for Chirstmas.
Hope that everyone's cars are all fixed up for Christmas
MY14 Audi S3 - Misano Red, S-tronic, Performance pack with parade red trim.
Got a small dent in my bonnet repaired at Shipstones this week. Work was carried out promptly for a quite reasonable price, and the repair work is of great quality, in fact I think they buffed the whole car and it looks better than when it went in (all they had to do was repair a small dent on the bonnet and respray it). Would highly recommend them to anyone in the Brisbane area.
Well, no sun here today so final judgement reserved.
1. No obvious runs - check
2. No obvious panel gaps - check
3. No excessive paint buildup on edges - check (well, there is, but close enough)
4. Orange Peel tight, even and consistent with factory - check
They did wash the car - ooops.
Orange peel around the number plate area is excessive (by my standards) but meh. No one really sees it and if I can be bothered I'll hit it with a high cut.
Some leftover paint edging from tape in places - along bottom sill. I can sort that out. Not sure they put the sill back on as close to the body as it could be. Pretty good though, minor gap on a mm or two.
Car looks in good condition, no obvious marks anywhere
They also did a much better job of touching up the underneath of the front bar where they scraped it - nice gloss and smooth.
The first day of sun will let me know how much work I'll need to do on swirls.
No smell of thinners like last time. No slopped filler anywhere like last time. No paint overspray on windows like last time.
Candyman happy

The new paint will be allowed a few weeks before I detail it. The rest of the car has a few layers of sealant from prior to the repairs.
I then plan to put an RO over the repainted area, cleanser wipe down and reseal. Will follow up in a few days with another layer and then one more layer a week later.
Thanks for the offer though. I have all the necessary gear and products, just need to wait a bit
