Yep, as dave- mentioned, that information came out prior to the photos of the 3 dr's in Australian docks surfaced.
It is 100% reliable though - I just hope that it's not 100% final!
Given the fact that it did not contain base pricing, or full details, and that there are now 3 door Golf R's on our shores, I keep holding onto the possibility that VW Australia may come to their senses and decide they want our business

Yeah true... the wait for official 3 door option down the track + 6 month wait time for order/build/delivery makes this a long term proposition.
Might just go and drop a little bit more $$$ on the VI and continue enjoying a brilliant car until that day!sigpic

Everyone has a lot of patience, should just get an Evo X.
I think the failings of other manufacturers (toyota, honda etc) are making more and more people jump brands to VW (due to safety ratings) and as such, the increased production numbers are being swallowed up.
