Just a follow up post. I received my code box today from TMTuning, loooong wait! Ordered on 28th July! Anyways, I'm happy to report that it works perfectly. Just plug into port on drivers side, turn on ignition, errors gone

i finally had a chance to install the led taillights i ordered from ozrams contact and i can happily say that code 15 on byte 18 via vcds works fine on my gti my11 jan build.

I got mine installed about a month ago but only today managed to clear amber light with AdamD's instructions how to change the code...Thanks AdamD and Ozram

Looks mad! I'm generally not a fan of the "Non-coloured cars" (I don't consider white, black, or any shade in between as a colour ), but I must say, a GTI in CSG with LED tail lights looks great. I hope you have detroits (or anything but the standard denvers) to finish it off

thanks Corey_R, well my perfect colour would have been rising blue, but R wasn't an option, Tornado Red is awesome but not metallic..so rejected.. As far as alloys still on to do list...didn't like any upgrade option offered BUT now some GTI Adidas 18" Serrons will open my wallet...(just need to find where to get them)

Hi guys, just wanted to post a pic of my mod, got my parts today after a month's wait. I took the normal mail option, so it should be faster express mail. I paid $690 after the conversion, which is a bargain I think.

I will post more pix once I've washed my car, and i've taken some daytime photos.
