  • I still haven't received my lights unfortunately. My holidays came and went and it has been 33 days since I paid for them. I guess it has something to do with the Christmas break but it does seem to be pretty slow postage. Hopefully I'll get them this week...

    • A big thank you to OSRAM for supplier details in Germany - R LED tails arrived and installed a few weeks back.

About to get it coded by local Volkswagen shop - however lost the coding sheet that came with the lights.

Any one know the latest coding instructions for my 2011 June build MY2012 Golf GTI. Thanks

Has anyone successfully coded the R Tails on a MY12+ (halogen lights). Appreciated if you could share the coding. Thanks.

          Per post below:

That's not actually true - I need to reword the post. That post has coding instructions for Central Electrics revisions up to and including 0615. What's yours? (The post tells you how to check.) I've not heard of anyone with a new build car having problems with the 0615 coding yet.

And if anyone does have any more info on the latest revisions, please let me know and I'll update the coding post.

            • Thanks Adam.

Had the coding performed and it would appear the Central Electrics Module has been updated.... For my June '11 build MY12 GTI, it is now 0651 ie. BCM PQ35 M 110 0651.

The setting was changed from 2 to 4 (15 was not a selectable) and all working as expected w/o the error. A big thanks to Peter from a local VW shop for making the update.

                Zircon,

If you have a cable, can you post the complete coding? Thank ye!

                      • You work for Essendon Volkswagen; have spare parts look up one of your floor model Golf R VIN's in ETKA and order the tail lights for you.

Can't quite see the complete coding. If you are coming to Dubstitute I'll be taking along my VCDS laptop and cable so I'll get it there.

Byte 18 has a drop box which you change, very easy, never use anyone else's long coding every car is different

That was what I was going to look at. I'm aware that differences in module versions / batches results in sometimes slightly different coding.
