Hi all,

I was wondering what people are being quoted and paying for Dealer delivery???

I was quoted $2722 Dealer delivery (not including 3rd party, rego, stamp duty or GST) on a 90TSI manual

I ended up getting my dealer deliveries for $995 which was a steal! That is for a new 118TSI Golf.

I don't think you should concern yourself at all with what portion of your outlay the dealer allocates to Dealer Delivery. All that matters is the total price you pay. I have NFI what my DD was, it could have been $6,000 for all I care. I know what I paid in total for the car though. I was totally happy with the price. Hypothetically TDiJetta09's "steal" could be a case of the dealer placing more of his margin in the "deal" than the add ons. We all know the dealers aren't mugs.

Which corporate programs/associations do VW give discounts to?

Such as CA etc

I was thinking of getting a quick membership to obtain a discount.

For example, to be a member of some corporate programs only cost $100.

I think the for a 90TSI is around $1,995. At least that's what is printed on a price breakdown sheet i have from a dealer. Although each dealer may charge more or less. I think there are a few variables... like mark up, discounts..

Question to all you Golf Experts.

Ive got a very nice price for a TSI.

Since the car has already arrived at the docks as a standard comfortline with DGS, they cant fit too many of the options that they would if it was already installed overseas prior to shipment.

I was thinking of sweetening the deal by saying to the dealer "if you throw in tinting and fog lights for that price ill buy it right now". Or "ill pay an extra $500 if you can throw in this and that"

I was wondering what were some of the good accessories that dealers would be happy to fit (as they have high margins) that I could squeeze out of them.

It would be a bit hard to get fog lights put in, because it wouldn't have the wiring loom, switch and the bumper insert would have to be changed. You could try for mats, mudflaps, boot mat.

Is that a universal bluetooth kit, or do you have to specify the brand/make of the phone?
